Most Wanted 2023 Main prizes in Brod na Kupi, Županići, Osijek and Rovinj

The best holiday homes are in Brod na Kupi and Županići, from Istria's Sveta Nedelja, while the best apartments and rooms are in Rovinj and Osijek. This is the most significant news from the recently concluded "Najiznajmljivač 2023" (Best Renter 2023) campaign, an initiative organised by the Ministry of Tourism and Sport and the Croatian Tourist Board, which was carried out in the field and media for the full six months it permanently lasted by Novi list.

The awards ceremony was held at Log House The River Pearl in Brod na Kupi, which was also proclaimed the best holiday home, while the awards for the best private renters in Croatia were presented by Ankica Kruljac, CEO of Novi list, Kristjan Staničić, director of the Croatian National Tourist Board, and Josip Pavić, State Secretary at the Ministry of Tourism and Sport, who also addressed the attendees with appropriate speeches.

On that occasion, Director Staničić once again highlighted the importance of private renters, who make up more than 60 percent of Croatia's total tourist accommodation capacity.

In addition to the main awards presented to Log House The River Pearl from Borda na Kupi and Villa Alison Deluxe from Županići, the award for the best rooms went to LA Villa from Osijek, while the best apartments were awarded to Royal Apartments from Rovinj.

Awards were also presented in two special categories – for sustainability to Eko ruralna kuća za odmor Lina in Lopatinec, Međimurje County, and for heritage valorisation to Island House Ošljak in Zadar County, and Ladanjska kuća Mikin Dol from Draž in Baranja.

Numerous other tourism officials attended the gathering in Brod na Kupi, along with two directors – Petar Hrg from Gorski Kotar and Rudi Gurla from the TZ Međimurje.

The staff of Volta restaurant from Fužine also ensured that the reception was a sign of Gorski Kotar.
