In the warmth of a country house Eko Holiday Home Lina, in the heart of green Međimurje, we organise small boutique culinary workshops inspired by our grandmothers' traditional recipes.
The workshops are designed as an authentic experience where participants get to know local ingredients, traditional recipes, and the stories of Međimurje's culinary heritage through cooking.

Međimurska gibanica is one of the most famous and beloved desserts from this region. In this workshop, you will learn how to prepare its distinctive layers – poppy seeds, walnuts, cottage cheese, and apples – which together create a rich and balanced flavour.
Međimurska gibanica is a symbol of Međimurje cuisine. In this workshop, you will learn how to prepare its distinctive fillings – poppy seed, walnut, cheese, and apple – and how to achieve the perfect balance of flavour and texture. Participants actively take part in the preparation from the pastry to the finished cake, and at the end, enjoy a tasting of freshly prepared gibanica.

As part of the workshop, a representative from the Dr. Rudolf Steiner Centre will share knowledge on how to grow food according to biodynamic principles and why this food is good for our bodies.
