❤️🎉 Danas slavimo 6. rođendan obrta True Colors! 🎉
Prije šest godina, u trenutku kada je svijet stao, a turizam tražio nove puteve, nastao je True Colors.
Mnogi su tada vidjeli neizvjesnost. Ja sam odlučila vidjeti priliku.
Od prvih koraka u vrijeme korone, preko brojnih projekata, edukacija, vođenja, partnerstava, studijskih putovanja i stvaranja novih turističkih doživljaja, pa sve do današnjeg True Colorsa – iza nas je šest godina rada, učenja, izazova, smijeha i prekrasnih ljudi koje smo upoznali na tom putu.
💚 Hvala svakom gostu, partneru, kolegi, studentu, prijatelju i suradniku koji je bio dio ove priče.
Posebno hvala svima koji su vjerovali u True Colors i onda kada je bilo najteže.
Danas slavimo prvih šest godina, a sutra nastavljamo stvarati nove priče, povezivati ljude, destinacije i ideje – u svim njihovim bojama.

💧 Terenska nastava – 9. Simpozij termalne vode “Jucer, danas, sutra”
🏛️ Studenti kolegija Hotelski menadžment Međimurskog veleučilišta u Čakovcu sudjelovali su na 9. Simpoziju termalne vode u Varaždinske Toplice.
💧 Kroz stručna predavanja upoznali su važnost termalnih voda, zdravstvenog turizma i njihovu povezanost s hotelskim poslovanjem.
🏺 Posebnu vrijednost posjetu dalo je upoznavanje lokaliteta Aquae Iasae, koji svjedoči o dugoj tradiciji korištenja termalnih izvora.
✨ Bila mi je privilegija biti voditeljica ove terenske nastave te studentima približiti važnost povezivanja kulturne baštine, zdravstvenog turizma i hotelskog menadžmenta. Terenska nastava održana je u okviru kolegija Hotelski menadžment na Međimurskom veleučilištu u Čakovcu. 😊

As part of the Hotel Management course, students from the Međimurje University of Applied Sciences participated in a field trip as part of the Summer by the Muru event. ☀️🌿
Hotel management today goes far beyond managing a hotel property. It encompasses understanding the destination, creating the guest experience, connecting local offerings, events, and attractions that together create the overall tourism experience.
Through fieldwork, students had the opportunity to observe the importance of event management, destination collaboration, content organisation, visitor experience management, and the role of local authenticity in shaping the tourism product.
Manifestations like Summer by the Mur are a good example of how events can contribute to the attractiveness of a destination, extend guest stays, and create added value for the tourism and hospitality sectors – themes that are an integral part of modern hotel management.
Because a successful hotel today is not an isolated system – it's part of a wider destination story. And it is precisely an understanding of these connections that students develop through a blend of theory and practice. ✨

🎓🍷 Colours of knowledge on the field 🍷🎓
As part of the field trip for the Hotel Management course at MEV - Međimurje University of Applied Sciences in Čakovec We participated in the opening of the jubilee, 25th edition of Urbanovo 2026 – an event that has, over the years, become an example of how to develop high-quality eno-gastronomic and destination tourism. 🍇✨
For students of Hotel Management, field trips like these hold particular value because it is at events such as Urbanovo that they can see how interconnected hospitality, gastronomy, event organisation, destination management, and the guest experience truly are.
Hotel management is not just about managing accommodation.
That's the understanding:
Guest experiences
Quality of service
The importance of local products and wines
Stakeholder cooperation in destinations

As the miles passed towards new business meetings, learning simultaneously about what constitutes the foundations of quality and responsible tourism agency operations also took place.
As part of the UHPA eduTOUR 2.0 project, I attended an online workshop:
„Operational, legal, tax, and accounting aspects of the most important services of travel agencies.”.
Tourism is a wonderful business, but also a business of great responsibility, knowledge, and constant self-improvement.
We learn to be better.
We learn to be more successful.
And most importantly – we learn so that one day we can pass that knowledge on to others. 🤍

Lecture
Today I had the opportunity to be part of an important educational workshop on the position of people with disabilities and how to interact with them.
I carry one key thought with me:
Empathy and pity are not the same.
Empathy means understanding, being present, seeing the person.
Pity... often unconsciously creates distance.
A few months ago Marina Radošić she gave me a simple, yet powerful lesson:
— if you don't know how to approach, how to help, or how to be supportive — ask.
And you will get an answer.
Why?
Because that's not weakness.
This is part of our human “DNA code.” 🤍
Communication. Respect. Appreciation.
Simple things that make a huge difference.
Thank you very much to the Public Institution for the Development of Međimurje County REDEA for organising the workshop and creating a space for learning, understanding, and concrete steps towards a more inclusive society.

🎉 Field Trip in Practice | Hotel Management
Today, we chose Hotel Castellum. As “congratulators” for the 8th birthday, we arrived for a field trip with the 2nd year. MEV - Međimurje University of Applied Sciences in Čakovec, as part of the Hotel Management course, lectured by Jelena Beredic.
Such meetings hold special value – because students learn not only from books, but directly from those who create tourism every day.
Field trips involve visits to specialists and tourism stakeholders who enhance the destination's quality through their work and example. It is precisely these encounters that provide students with a realistic picture of the business operations, challenges, and standards that make a difference.
