Workshop Programme:

1.  One-hour workshop – beginner

Participants decorate a pre-prepared ceramic souvenir with glazes or pigment paints. The work is protected with a waterproof coating. The finished item is taken home at the end of the workshop.

For Camino pilgrims, it is possible to arrange the creation and painting of ceramic Camino shells – the traditional symbol of the Camino – as a personal, handmade souvenir from the journey.

The price for one person on the workshop is €50.

2. Three-hour workshop – beginner

Participants paint a pre-prepared ceramic souvenir with glazes, which are fired using the Raku firing technique. The finished work can be taken home the same day.

Price per person – €150

Minimum 2 people, maximum 5 people

3. Daily workshop – beginner, connoisseur

One-day* creative programme in clay modelling, painting and decorative arrangement of your own creative work. Glazing and finishing of ceramics will be done by the workshop leader later, independently, after the workshop has concluded. Works will be delivered subsequently by courier service at the expense of the creator of the work.

6 school hours

Price per person – 300 euros

A minimum of 4 people and a maximum of 6 people.

4. Wood Fire Workshop — 3-4 days – Connoisseur

An advanced programme for participants with basic pottery experience. The programme includes glazing of brought-in bisque-fired works and wood-fired pottery.

1 dan – Introduction to wood-fired glazes

2 and 3 days Loading into the kiln and a continuous firing cycle of approximately 20-25 hours

4th of Dan – 7 days after the wood firing, the kiln will be opened and the works collected. The works can also be delivered by courier service at the author's expense.

NOTEAll works for woodfire must be stoneware for 1280.^oC

5. Weekend workshop on the potter's wheel - beginner, intermediate

Learning pottery wheel technique with centrifugal force. Duration two days. First day of work*, training with the workshop leader, followed by unlimited independent practice. Second day* training on finishing your own piece – trimming, followed by unlimited independent practice. After drying and firing, works will be delivered to the author at their own expense by courier. It is also an option to come in person for the final glazing and collection of your artwork. The workshop leader is Goran Osojnički.

Workshop facilitator

The workshops are led by Vesna Osojnički — an arts graduate, academic sculptor and ceramicist, and a retired principal lecturer with many years of artistic and pedagogical experience.
